See Page XX June 2012

Pelgrane #1 is away in sunnier climes so I have assumed the mantle of Head Pelgrane for this issue of Page XX. We have some Night’s Black Agents treats for you this month, including a compilation of all the winning entries to the Conspyramid Competition and more of Will Plant’s fantastic Achievements for you to unlock as you play the game. Owl Hoot Trail is available for playtest and co-author Kevin Kulp has written a short article introducing Owl Hoot Trail and his experiences of playing and writing the game. Neil Carr has written a fantasticly detailed and interesting report on crowdfunding for RPG projects. There are more pearls of RPG wisdom from Robin D Laws, this time focusing on how we read RPG books. The 2nd round of playtesting for 13th Age is now over so read an update on the process and future of the game. We have new playtesting opportunities and the Dying Earth Revivification Folio is now available to pre-order. Finally we have a quick round-up of all things Pelgrane in the shape of Simon Roger’s View from the Pelgrane’s Nest, and the Page XX Poll.

I’ve been tempted by both Esoterrorists and Night BA, it is a shame you guys didn’t ship anything for the free RPG game, I know it is expensive, but it’d have been nice. I ‘d have loved to take that vampire coven on my FFS and turn them into this new game.

Do you mean for Free RPG Day? What would you like to have seen?

Yes, Free RPG Day (I write late night even when I should´t)
I was thinking on a basic rules + introductory scenario handout, as nWoD did with Hunter, that introduced me to the game, and it was enough for me to decide if the setting interested me or not. It doesn´t have to be a printed version of it, a downloadable PDF will be enough for someone to book a table on the convention and run the game, just my two cents. This game should take all those vampire-boys in the gaming community and take them to a new level.
