Enigmatic Icon here. The Pelgrane wants me to fill you in on the news over at Stone Skin Press, so I came as fast as I could. There’s been a lot of remarkable excavations at the word quarries, and since we keep unearthing new specimens I’ll try to stop in a little more often to keep you all abreast. Here’s what we’ve turned up this month:
- We’ve announced our newest book: Letters to Lovecraft, edited by Stone Skin Press author and Hillfolk contributor Jesse Bullington.
- To celebrate the release of Schemers, we’ve started posting excerpts from the book. So far we’ve published a teaser from Tobias S. Buckell’s story and one from Tania Hersman’s. We’ll be posting more in the weeks to come.
- We’re giving The New Gothic the same treatment, starting with an excerpt from a piece by Jesse Bullington and S.J. Chambers and then a preview of Fi Michell’s vampire story. More of these are coming, too, so keep checking in at the main site.
- Speaking of The New Gothic, the review site Pop Cults just gave it a great review, so if you’re on the fence about picking up a collection of brand new spooky stories by grandmasters like Ramsey Campbell, this ought to push you over the edge.
That’s all the news that’s fit to chisel in granite for now, but I’ll be back next month to give you another update. Have a gneiss weekend, everyone.
