Description:
Contact with the water-dwelling inhabitants of the ocean moon Abzu, and a research station on its frozen surface, has been lost. The lasers are asked to investigate. Meanwhile, Abzu is threatened by an ecological catastrophe that seems to be connected in some way with the silence of the research station.

The laser’s ship is on the edge of Bleed space when they receive a distress call. “This is the Combine Starship Mercator. We have crash-landed on the planet Rekel-3 after a Durugh attack. Request immediate assistance.” But the message is datestamped 47 years ago, which is when the Mercator disappeared, somewhere in the Charybdis Outzone. So why is it only being received now?
